Smithtown to Host First Holiday Tree Lighting This Thursday
The event will include musical performances as well as cookies and hot chocolate.
Smithtown will be hosting the town's first Holiday Tree Lighting this Thursday.
The event will take place on Dec. 1 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Smithtown Town Hall on 99 W Main Street.
Entertainment will include performances by the Smithtown West Jazz Choir and the Smithtown West Variety Whisperettes.

In addition, guests will get the chance to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate courtesy of Lessings as well as balloon sculpting by Animations.
Attendees will include Town Supervisor Patrick R. Vecchio as well as Smithtown Town Council members Thomas J. McCarthy, Edward R. Wehrheim, Lynne C. Nowick and Lisa M. Inzerillo.
