Smithtown Hosting Monthly Programs For New School Administrators

The New Administrator Induction Program is meant for Smithtown administrators to share and learn together, said Superintendent Mark Secaur.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Smithtown Superintendent Mark Secaur introduced an initiative to help administrators who are new or assuming a different position, the school district announced.

Secaur has been meeting once a month with principals, assistant principals and other untenured administrators in the district as part of a new program he introduced — the New Administrator Induction Program.

"The idea for this is to have a forum for you to share and learn together," Secaur told the group.
