Smithtown HS East Track & Field Star Nominated For Dellecave Award

Julia Sue-Kam-Ling was nominated as the top female high school athlete at Smithtown High School East.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Julia Sue-Kam-Ling, a senior at Smithtown High School East, was nominated for the Butch Dellacave award as the top female athlete of her high school, the Smithtown Central School District shared.

Sue-Kam-Ling is the captain of the winter and spring track teams and is a school record holder in
the long jump. She is the League 2 and Large School long jump champion and is ranked
ninth in the state. This past winter, Sue-Kam-Ling earned a trip to the state track meet. She is set to attend Jacksonville University in the fall to continue her track and field career.
