Smithtown HS Students Inducted Into NYS Business Honor Society
Business students from both high schools celebrated their achievements at the WindWatch Golf and Country Club. See photos in the story.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Business students from both Smithtown high schools, east and west, celebrated their induction into the NYS Business and Marketing Honor Society on Thursday.
At the WindWatch Golf and Country Club, 60 students were recognized for their achievements, receiving either a PHD (personal higher degree) or MBA (master of business achievement).
Phil Como, the Smithtown Industry Advisory Board executive director, led the induction ceremony, lauding the students for their hard work and dedication.

Smithtown High School West Assistant Principal Michael Freiberg and High School East Assistant
Principal Michael Aleci announced each Honor Society candidate for their respective high schools.
Assistant Superintendents Paul Strader and Neil Katz were also in attendance as each student received their awards, and Director of CTE Christine LoFrese thanked everyone for attending as their hard work paid off.
