Smithtown HS Students Visit UBS Arena, Home Of NY Islanders

ELMONT, NY — Students from Smithtown High School East and Smithtown High School West were recently given a behind-the-scenes tour of UBS Arena, the home of the NY Islanders, the school district announced.

The tour was part of sports marketing classes the students were taking at each high school.

Several seminars throughout the tour focused on areas of interest to the students, including community relations, public relations, corporate sponsorships and game-day events.
