Smithtown HS West Alumnus Creates MOOV App
The app is capable of showcasing each school's events, information, clubs and sports and is meant to increase student engagement.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Kevin Camson, an alumnus of Smithtown High School, introduced the MOOV app at the district's board of education meeting on Tuesday, the district announced.
The app was created to increase student engagement and centralize school information, making it social and accessible in real time. It can showcase each school's events, information, clubs, sports and more in a dynamic way on students' phones.
"I am so excited to help students discover what’s out there and the great things the Smithtown Central School District has to offer," Camson said. "The future is what we make of it."
