SMITHTOWN, NY — Liam Reynolds, a student musician at Smithtown High School West, was accepted into the All-Eastern Jazz Band, the school district announced.

Earlier this year, Liam was selected to participate in the New York State School Music Association’s All-State Music Festival. More than 1,200 students from Maine to Maryland applied for All-Eastern, but only 18 were chosen to be part of the jazz band.

A virtual 2021 Eastern Division Honor Ensembles program is scheduled for March 4 through 6.
