Smithtown Library To Host Budget Vote, Trustee Election
Find out everything you need to know before hitting the polls this week.

SMITHTOWN, NY - The Smithtown Library will be hosting its annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election this week.
Residents can vote on Tuesday Oct. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The elections are being held in all four branches of the Smithtown Library which includes Smithtown, Kings Park, Commack, and Nesconset.

If you can not make it to the library on Tuesday to vote you can get an absentee ballot by stopping by the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Library on 148 Smithtown Blvd or calling Laura Gunderson at 631-360-2489.
The election will determine if the $15 million proposed budget will pass. In addition, residents can elect two members to the library board.

Incumbents Louis S. Frontario and John C. Martins will be challenged by Theresa M. Stabile, James Hornef, Annette Galarza and Joseph Gregurich.
