Smithtown Memorial Day Parade: What You Should Know

SMITHTOWN, NY — The Smithtown Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for noon May 30.

The parade is set to proceed down westbound Main Street from Singer Lane to Smithtown Town Hall.

The parade is slated to be hosted by the Smithtown Fire Department this year. The Knights of Columbus had hosted the parade for the past 30 years but has opted to stop hosting the parade, according to fire department public information officer Rick Torre.

"The Smithtown Fire Department proudly has now assumed the role of hosting the parade," the department stated. "We would like to thank the Knights of Columbus for their 30 years of effort hosting this parade."

Any parties wishing to march should email parade@smithtownfd.org by May 16.
