Smithtown Mt. Pleasant Students Turn 100 for a Day — And Steal the Show
Wigs, suspenders, and shawls took over the hallways as students marked a milestone day in creative and memorable fashion.
SMITHTOWN, NY — At Mt. Pleasant Elementary, turning 100 has never looked so good.
Students recently marked the 100th day of the school year by dressing up as their 100-year-old selves, transforming classrooms and hallways into a lively gathering of “centenarians” full of personality and charm.
From gray wigs and oversized glasses to bowties, bonnets, suspenders and shawls, the creative outfits brought plenty of laughs — and wisdom well beyond their years.
