Smithtown Police Blotter: 2 Town Of Smithtown Homes Burglarized
Jewelry was swiped from one of the homes, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Nov. 17: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Wadsworth Place in Smithtown at 5:55 p.m. A person entered a home through a back window, but nothing was taken from the home, police said.
- Nov. 17: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Birchbrook Drive in Village of the Branch at 8:45 a.m. Someone broke into a home through a back window and stole jewelry, police said.
- Nov. 15: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Thomas Place in Smithtown from Nov. 14 at 10 p.m. Someone stole a 2018 Mazda CX5 that was parked outside of a home, police said. The victim was missing a key fob for the vehicle, police said.
- Nov. 15: Grand larceny (second-degree) was reported on Neil Drive in Lake Grove from Oct. 26 at 11:20 p.m. A person made multiple wire transfers out of someone else's bank account, police said.
