Smithtown Police Blotter: 2019 Infiniti Stolen From Driveway
The keys were left in the car before the theft, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Dec. 2: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown at 3:11 p.m. Someone cashed a counterfeit check using the Audrey Bloom JD Mortgage Fund bank account, an employee reported, police said.
- Dec. 1: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Alex Court in Lake Grove from Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Someone stole a 2019 Infiniti parked in a driveway, police said. The keys had been left in the Infiniti, police said.
- Nov. 29: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Nancy Lane in Nesconset from May 1 at noon. A woman received a text message requesting personal information and provided the information, police said. She was then scammed out of her unemployment benefits, police said.
