Smithtown Police Blotter: 3 Burglaries Reported

There were also four grand larcenies reported, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Aug. 8: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Highwoods Road in Smithtown from Aug. 4 at 5 p.m.
  • Aug. 8: Grand larceny was reported on Penn Street in Lake Grove at 1 a.m.
  • Aug. 7: Criminal mischief was reported on Bayberry Drive in St. James at 2:36 a.m.
  • Aug. 7: Grand larceny was reported on Greenwich Road in Smithtown from Aug. 6 at 10 p.m.
  • Aug. 7: Harassment was reported on Woodlawn Avenue in St. James at 9:45 p.m.
  • Aug. 7: Harassment was reported on Cedar Grove Avenue in Lake Grove at 9:53 p.m.
  • Aug. 6: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Middle Country Road in Nesconset at 3:30 a.m.
  • Aug. 6: Grand larceny was reported on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Grove at 5:30 a.m.
  • Aug. 6: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on East Main Street in Village of the Branch from Aug. 4 at 4 p.m.
  • Aug. 6: Grand larceny was reported on Bayard Street in Lake Grove at 1:30 a.m.
  • Aug. 6: Two cases of harassment were reported on Nichols Road in Nesconset from Aug. 5 at noon.
  • Aug. 5: Harassment was reported on Alexander Avenue in St. James from Aug. 2 at 6 p.m.
  • Aug. 5: Criminal mischief was reported on Middle Country Road in Nesconset from Aug. 4 at 10 p.m.
