Smithtown Police Blotter: Burglaries, Grand Larcenies Reported

Three burglaries were reported on the same road in the span of three hours, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Sept. 11: Three counts of burglary (third-degree) were reported on Maple Avenue in Smithtown between 2:48 a.m. and 5:53 a.m.
  • Sept. 10: Grand larceny was reported on McGaw Avenue in Lake Grove from Aug. 31 at 1 p.m.
  • Sept. 10: Grand larceny was reported at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove at 3:15 p.m.
  • Sept. 7: Grand larceny was reported on Middle Country Road in Nesconset at 4 p.m.
  • Sept. 7: Criminal mischief was reported on Tulip Grove Drive in Lake Grove from Sept. 5 at 9:55 p.m.
