Smithtown Police Blotter: Car Stolen From Parking Lot

ALSO: A home's garage was broken into, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? Check out the recent crimes reported in the area between Nov. 6 and Nov. 13.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Nov. 10: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Williams Boulevard in Lake Grove at 12:06 p.m. Someone stole a 2002 Acura RSX that was parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex, police said.
  • Nov. 9: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Cygnet Drive in Smithtown from Nov. 5 at noon. Jewelry and a purse were stolen from a home's garage, police said.
