Smithtown Police Blotter: Catalytic Converters Stolen
ALSO: Credit card accounts were opened in an identity theft, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- April 5: Criminal mischief (third-degree) was reported on Virginia Avenue in Lake Grove at 11 p.m. A catalytic converter was stolen off a 2003 Honda Civic, police said.
- April 5: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Williams Boulevard in Lake Grove from March 1 at 12:01 a.m. Two credit card accounts were opened using someone's personal information, police said.
- April 3: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Alma Avenue in Lake Grove at 2:30 p.m. A catalytic converter was stolen off a 2003 Honda Accord, police said.
