Smithtown Police Blotter: Chainsaws Stolen From Trailer
ALSO: Two men damaged the fence and security cameras of a Smithtown business, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- July 22: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Southern Boulevard in Nesconset at 2 a.m. Someone stole plow blades from Complete Property Care, police said.
- July 19: Criminal mischief (third-degree) was reported on West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown from July 17 at 5:30 p.m. Two men damaged a fence and security cameras at Reliable Tree Service, police said.
- July 19: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Reeves Street in Smithtown from April 14 at 1 p.m. A person opened an account with the Sprint Phone Company in someone else's name and accrued several bills, police said.
- July 19: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Terry Road in Smithtown at 2:42 a.m. Someone cut the lock off a parked trailer and stole hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaws and a demo saw, police said.
