Smithtown Police Blotter: ID Theft, 3 Grand Larcenies Reported

The identity theft, reported earlier in the week, originally happened in December 2019, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Sept. 6: Criminal mischief was reported on Lake Avenue South in Nesconset from March 6 at 8 a.m.
  • Sept. 5: Criminal mischief was reported on Old Northport Road in Smithtown at 5:57 a.m.
  • Sept. 5: Harassment was reported on Cresthill Place in Village of the Branch at 1:04 p.m.
  • Sept. 5: Criminal mischief was reported on Roman Court in Lake Grove at 8:45 p.m.
  • Sept. 4: Grand larceny was reported on West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown from Sept. 2 at 3 p.m.
  • Sept. 4: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Harvard Avenue in Smithtown from Dec. 19, 2019, at noon.
  • Sept. 4: Two counts of harassment were reported on Bishops Road in Smithtown between 6 p.m. and 7:55 p.m.
  • Sept. 4: Grand larceny was reported on Old Mill Road in St. James from Sept. 3 at 1 p.m.
  • Sept. 1: Grand larceny was reported on Middle Country Road in Lake Grove at 5:40 a.m.
  • Sept. 1: Harassment was reported on Maple Avenue in Smithtown at 9:59 p.m.
