Smithtown Police Blotter: Identity Theft, 3 Grand Larcenies
There were also criminal mischief and harassment cases reported, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Aug. 15: Criminal mischief was reported on Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset at 4:40 a.m.
- Aug. 15: Grand larceny was reported on Trent Lane in Smithtown from Aug. 14 at 1:30 p.m.
- Aug. 15: Criminal mischief was reported on Southern Boulevard in Nesconset from Aug. 14 at 2:42 p.m.
- Aug. 15: Grand larceny was reported on Magaw Avenue in Lake Grove at 5:30 p.m.
- Aug. 14: Grand larceny was reported on Middle Country Road in Lake Grove from Aug. 13 at 4 p.m.
- Aug. 12: Harassment was reported on Walnut Street in Lake Grove from Aug. 11 at 11:30 p.m.
- Aug. 12: Identity theft (second-degree) was reported on Brooks Avenue in Nesconset from July 9 at 10 a.m.
- Aug. 12: Harassment was reported on Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown at 8:30 p.m.
- Aug. 10: Criminal mischief was reported on Carnegie Drive in St. James at 12:53 p.m.
- Aug. 9: Criminal mischief was reported on Ridge Road in Smithtown from Aug. 8 at 11 p.m.
- Aug. 9: Harassment was reported on Sunny Road in St. James at 4:40 p.m.
