Smithtown Police Blotter: Jeep Stolen From Smithtown Driveway
ALSO: A Nesconset resident suffered identity theft and lost money in their bank account, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- July 30: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Edgewood Avenue in Smithtown at 6 a.m. Someone stole a 2002 Jeep from a driveway, police said. The keys were in the Jeep, police said.
- July 29: Criminal mischief (third-degree) was reported on Terry Road in Smithtown at 10:30 a.m. A person damaged a window and air conditioning unit at Davita Smithtown Dialysis, police said.
- July 28: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Roy Drive in Nesconset from July 22 at 11:40 a.m. A thief used someone's identity and stole cash from their bank account, police said.
