Smithtown Police Blotter: Jewelry Swiped In Home Break-In
ALSO: A catalytic converter was stolen, police say.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? Check out the recent crimes reported in the area between Dec. 11 and Dec. 17.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Dec. 14: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Woodlot Road in Head of the Harbor at 6 p.m. Someone broke into a home and stole assorted jewelry, police said.
- Dec. 14: Criminal mischief (third-degree) was reported on Middle Country Road in St. James at 3 p.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a 2008 Ford, police said.
