Smithtown Police Blotter: Man Gets Robbed Of Chain, Wallet, Phone
ALSO: A 2020 Audi parked outside a Smithtown restaurant was stolen, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- March 5: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset at 2:38 a.m. Someone kicked in the garage door panel of Conoco and broke a window in an attempt to get into another part of the building, police said. The burglar ran away, police said.
- March 5: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Middle Country Road in St. James from March 4 at 6:45 p.m. Someone drove onto Competition BMW property and swiped multiple sets of tires, rims, and assorted tools, police said.
- March 4: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on East Main Street in Smithtown at 2 p.m. Someone stole a 2020 Audi parked outside of Chop Shop Bar and Grill, police said.
- March 4: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on North Country Road in St. James from Jan. 31 at midnight. A person accessed two separate business banking accounts for Mazeli’s Landscape Corp., police said.
- March 1: Robbery (first-degree) was reported on West Main Street in Smithtown from Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. A robber approached a person on West Main Street and stole his chain, cash, cellphone, and wallet, police said.
