Smithtown Police Blotter: Stolen Credit Card Used At Stores

ALSO: Cash was stolen from a plant nursery, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Jan. 27: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset at 12:40 a.m. Someone entered Borella Wholesale Nursery through an unlocked door and stole cash from a drawer, police said.
  • Jan. 25: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Alpine Court in Smithtown from Jan. 24 at 12:01 a.m. A credit card was stolen and used at multiple businesses, police said.
