Ortiz said that she tries to come to the sprinkler park at least once a week with her 4-year-old daughter to cool down and enjoy her afternoons off from work.
The water park, located next to the playground behind the library, was packed with dozens of children while parents or guardians sat in the shade to cool off themselves.
