Stolen Credit Cards Used At Lake Grove Apple Store: Police

A wallet had been stolen from someone at a Panera Bread earlier in the day, police say.

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, attempted to use stolen credit cards at a Lake Grove store last month.

A wallet was reported stolen from Panera Bread, at 5191 Sunrise Highway, Bohemia, around 10:30 a.m. March 17, police said. Shortly after, a man attempted to use the credit cards at an Apple Store in the Smith Haven Mall, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
