UPDATED: 3 Men Break Into Smithtown Liquor Store, Police Say

New details have emerged in the burglary of Figari's Wine & Liquor from Feb. 21, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Three men broke into Figari's Wine & Liquor in Smithtown 2 a.m. Feb. 21, the Suffolk County Police Department said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the group.

The men used a baseball bat to break the shop's front door at 120 E. Main St., police said. They stole roughly $200 in cash and $300 in liquor, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
