Teachers Federal Credit Union Awards a $2,500 Scholarship to Kevin Slattery

He is a Smithtown High School-West Graduate

Teachers Federal Credit Union, one of the country’s largest credit unions, has awarded a $2,500 education scholarship to Long Island high school graduating senior Kevin Slattery as part of the credit union’s ongoing efforts to provide support and encouragement to local students within the communities it serves.

At a recent ceremony held at TFCU headquarters in Hauppauge, Robert G. Allen, CEO/President of TFCU presented one of four $2,500 educational scholarships to Kevin G. Slattery of Smithtown. Kevin is a graduate of Smithtown High School-West who plans to attend Quinnipiac University and study Communications.

“TFCU is committed to supporting Long Island’s ambitious graduating high school seniors seeking to further their education and begin their chosen careers. The four recipients of this year’s educational scholarships are exceptional students with admirable academic goals. It is a time to celebrate with the recipients and wish them success in college and in all of their future endeavors,” said Robert G. Allen, CEO/President of TFCU.
