Teen Tried To Sell Dirt Bike Stolen From Smithtown: Cops
The 18-year-old tried to sell the bike on Facebook, police say.

HOLBROOK, NY - A Holbrook man was arrested for trying to sell a dirt bike stolen from a Smithtown man on Facebook on Monday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
The Smithtown man reported his 2011 Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen from his home on Aug. 29.
The man advised detectives that the dirt bike was offered for sale on Facebook by 18-year-old Thomas Geiger, police said.

He then met with Geiger near his home on Grundy Avenue while detectives were in the area at about 1 p.m., police said.
Geiger was arrested and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and making an apparently sworn false statement.

He was scheduled for arraignment at First District Central Islip on Tuesday.
