WATCH: Firefighters Battle Truck Fire In St. James

No injuries were reported during the blaze last week.

ST. JAMES, NY - Firefighters battled a truck fire in St. James last week.

On Friday, the St. James Volunteer Fire Department received a call of a reported working truck fire on Lt. John Olsen Lane which runs off of Moriches Road at about 5:08 p.m.

The first responding firefighters arrived and quickly extinguished the truck which had cleaning chemicals inside.

The scene was under control at 5:33 p.m.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
