Whisper Woods at Smithtown Honors Veterans with Free Breakfast

Whisper Woods at Smithtown celebrated Veterans Day by offering free breakfasts to local veterans. The assisted living and memory care community picked up the tab at the Professor’s Diner in Kings Park on Thursday, Nov. 9, to show appreciation for those who have served our country.

Over 75 veterans showed up to receive their complimentary breakfast, connect with each other and share their stories. Students from the Kings Park Student Council helped serve breakfast and enjoyed interacting with the Veterans. Whisper Woods and Professor’s Diner staff showed their appreciation for the veterans’ bravery, hard work and dedication to our country.
