Woman Paid For Items With Counterfeit Money At Smith Haven Mall: Police

LAKE GROVE, NY - Police are seeking a woman who used counterfeit money at a Lake Grove department store.

The woman (pictured above) paid for merchandise with six counterfeit $20 bills at JCPenney in Smith Haven Mall on May 5 at 10 a.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
