Event Details
We will have a presentation and demonstration of 2 historic muskets. One from the Civil War and one from the Revolutionary era. Andrew Menzie, Director of Historical Interpretation, Fort William Henry will bring and demonstrate his musket. His presentation will focus on the local and regional connections between the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. Local owner of the Revolutionary era musket, Don Weber, will relate the amusing tale of how his family came into possession of this historic treasure. Please join us: 6 pm potluck supper, 7 pm presentation.
