1 Airlifted After Fire At Long Island Mobile Home Park
The fire broke out at 6:26 p.m., officials say.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — One person was airlifted for treatment of burn injuries after a fire broke out at a mobile home park in Riverside Friday, officials said.
According to the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department, the call came in at 6:26 p.m. about a working structure fire at the Riverwoods Mobile Home Park on Riverleigh Avenue.
An occupant of the home was airlifted by Suffolk County aviation to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.
