SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A 13-year-old from Southampton was arrested after he shot at workers with a BB gun, police said.
The teen was arrested, charged with menacing and unlawful possession of a firearm for a person under 16, and given an appearance ticket to appear in family court with his parents, Southampton Town police said.
According to police, on Friday, the teen, who purchased a BB gun on Amazon, began shooting at bushes in his yard. He saw two workers across the street from his residence and shot at them multiple times "to see their reaction," police said.
