19-Year-Old Charged With Having Sex With Girl, 11: Police
He developed a "romantic interest" in the 11-year-old girl and had repeated sex with her for more than a year, police say.
QUIOGUE, NY — A 19-year-old from Quiogue was arrested recently and charged with having sex with a girl, 11, for more than a year after developing a "romantic interest" in her, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, Kelvin F. Mayen-Vasquez was arrested on May 19 and charged with course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony; possessing a sexual performance by a child, a felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
He was arrested after an investigation into allegations, police said. Mayen-Vasquez had repeated intercourse with the girl from March, 2021 through this May, police said.

Mayen-Vasquez is being held in the Suffolk County correctional facility after he was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
