2-Car Crash On County Road 39 Easter Sunday Slows Traffic
The road has since reopened, officials say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A two-car crash on Easter Sunday slowed traffic on County Road 39, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, the crash took place at 5:02 p.m. in the eastbound lane of County Road 39 near Speedway. Both the eastbound and westbound lanes were closed except for one lane each, leading to a slow-down in traffic, he said.
No injuries were reported, he said.

The road reopened just before 6 p.m., Brenner said.
