2 Charged With DWI After 2 Separate Southampton Crashes Overnight: PD
The crashes took place in Southampton and in Noyack, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Two people were arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after two separate crashes in Southampton Town overnight Wednesday into early Thursday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, on Wednesday at 10:07 p.m., police saw a two-car crash at the intersection of Long Beach Road and Noyack Road in Noyack. The ensuing investigation revealed that one of the drivers was driving while intoxicated condition, police said.
No injuries were reported, police said.

Claudio E. Suarez-Paucar, 40, of Flanders, was arrested and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, and also issued summonses for multiple traffic violations, police said.
Suarez-Paucar was processed at Southampton Town police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.

Next, at 2:29 a.m. Thursday, authorities received a report about a crash in the vicinity of Shrubland Road in Southampton, police said.
The driver, who struck a utility pole, was intoxicated, police said.
Bryan E. Garcia-Andrade, 21, of Lake Worth, Florida was arrested and charged
with misdemeanor DWI, and also issued a summons for a traffic infraction, police said.
Garcia-Andrade was transported to Southampton Town police headquarters, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said. No injuries were reported in that crash, police said.
