2 Hurt When Bus For Special Needs Individuals Overturns: Cops

RIVERSIDE, NY — Two people were injured when a bus for special needs individuals overturned in Riverside Wednesday, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police St. James Cavanagh, a Independent Group Home Living Program, Inc. bus overturned at the intersectin of Country Road 94 and Pinehurst Blvd. at 1:27 p.m.

Two people were injured in the single-vehicle rollover crash, including one client and the driver; both were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said. Although the road was closed for the investigation, it has since reopened, Cavanagh said.
