2 Men Caught With Heroin In Southampton: Police
The men were stopped for an unauthorized license plate cover, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Two men were caught with heroin in Southampton recently, police said.
According to New York State Police, on May 9, Leon Mann, 25, of Bellport, and Anthony Varriale, 26, of Mastic, were both arrested and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in Southampton for speeding and an unauthorized license plate cover.
Subsequent to the traffic stop, both men were found to be in possession of heroin, police said.

Mann was turned over to the Nassau County Police Department for an active warrant and is due back in Southampton Justice Court on Wednesday, police said.
Varriale is also due back in Southampton Justice Court on Wednesday, police said.
