2 Nabbed In Southampton Town DWI Patrols: Police
The extra patrols took place Wednesday in anticipation of increased travel and celebrations ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Southampton Town Police participated in increased patrols on Wednesday, during peak Thanksgiving travel time, officials said.
The patrols were organized in anticipation of increased travel and celebrations ahead of the holiday, police said. As a result of the extra patrols, two people were arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI, police said.
In addition, police conducted checks of local establishments to ensure they were compliant with New York State Liquor Authority statutes, police said. During that time, a woman, 27, of Mastic was arrested and charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor, and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage under New York State law, police said. An investigation revealed that she'sold alcohol to someone under the age of 21 at Club Ultra in Southampton, police said.

compliant:

-Shell gas station on Canoe Place Road
