2 Wanted For Damaging, Trying To Steal ATM In Speonk: Police

SPEONK, NY — The search is on for two men who damaged and tried to steal an ATM in Speonk last month, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the men responsible the incident involving the ATM, located outside of Capital One Bank at 172 Montauk Highway, on April 11, authorities said.

The men were seen operating a dark commercial work truck with what appears to be an orange light on the roof, police said.
