4 Injured In 2-Car Crash On County Road 39: Officials
A person needed to be extricated from one of the vehicles, officials say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Four people were injured in a two-car crash in Southampton Saturday night, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, the crash took place at about 10 p.m. at the intersection of Country Road 39 and N. Magee Street. One person had to be extricated out of a sedan; four were taken to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he said.
The driver of the sedan fled on foot, he said; no further was immediately available on if the driver was found.
