'Adopt With A Cop': Police Team Up With Shelter To Help Homeless Pets

Southampton Town Police have joined forces with the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation to find forever homes for four-legged friends.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Southampton's finest have a soft spot for four-legged friends.

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation said this week that the organization is excited to partner with the Southampton Town Police Department to launch the "Adopt With A Cop" series.

The initiative will spotlight law enforcement officers alongside the shelter's adoptable rescues.

SASF's Executive Director Patricia Deshong was recently photographed with Southampton Town Police Lt. Susan Ralph and police officers, posing with puppies.

"We are beyond thrilled to kick off the series, partnering with the community — and law enforcement in particular has always been near and dear to Ms. Deshong’s heart," SASF said in a release.
