After arriving at JFK International Airport on March 22, 2025, a Moriches man was informed by airport staff that his vacation to Aruba had been cancelled without his knowledge — about three hours prior to departure, police said.

Following an investigation by financial crimes unit detectives, it was determined the man’s former business partner, Fisher, contacted the travel agency by phone and impersonated the man, utilizing his personal information to cancel the trip, and causing a loss of $4,202, police said.

Fisher was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
