Charity Foundation Lends Huge Helping Hand To Homeless Pets In Hamptons

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation received at $50K donation from the Plesser's Charity Foundation.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Homeless animals received a huge helping hand recently: The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation was the recipient of a $50,000 donation from the Plesser's Charity Foundation.

SASF received the donation on Thursday at Plesser's Appliances in Babylon; the funds were raised at the foundation's annual golf outing, held on July 27 at Cold Spring Country Club, which selected SASF as this year's beneficiary.

"The donation will support SASF's lifesaving work on behalf of homeless animals," SASF representatives said.
