• Man Brandishes Apparent Handgun During Lyft Ride, Fires Multiple Rounds Into Air: Police (patch.com) — Southampton Town police say an intoxicated Lyft passenger brandished what looked like a handgun during a ride from Sag Harbor to Noyac, then fired multiple rounds into the air after being dropped off. Nearby homes were evacuated as specialized town units and Suffolk County Sheriff's K-9 responded, safely removing others from the residence before arresting the suspect and recovering an imitation handgun and ammunition.
