Bike Worth More Than $3K Stolen From Water Mill: Police

WATER MILL, NY — The search is on for a man who broke into a Water Mill home in August and stole a bike worth more than $3,000, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man they say stole a Cannondale bicycle valued at about $3,200, as well as a guitar case, from a home on Montauk Highway on August 29.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, utilizing a mobile app.
