Box Cutter Slashing At Southampton Eatery: Cops

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A person was allegedly slashed with a box cutter three times in a Southampton eatery, police said.

According to Southampton Village Police, on March 31 at 1:43 a.m., authorities received a call from Southampton Hospital that a person had been stabbed and brought in for treatment.

The person had allegedly been slashed with the box cutter-style knife three times while in 75 Main, police said.

The person was treated, released, and is being "uncooperative with detectives," police said.
