- “Mr. Achuthan was not only one of the founding members of the Hayground School but he also continues to educate children, his own and any that he comes in contact with in the spirit of love and kindness, humor and intelligence while facilitating an education for his students that will give them empathy, tolerance and the ability to grow, plan and cook their own food. Arjun is a teacher among teachers yet he is one that forgets no child and certainly one that is not easily forgotten by those who have come across his magic spell that speaks to the innocence and humanity of every student.”
