Bridgehampton Students Celebrate Holidays With Music, Fare

The students were among 500 musicians from around nation performing holiday carols on brass instruments at Rockefeller Center.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — Bridgehampton students celebrated the holiday season with music and festive tastes.

First, the "magical sounds of the low-pitched tuba were a celebration for many to hear and witness at Rockefeller Center’s 45th annual Merry Tuba Christmas" recently, district officials said.

Bridgehampton students Chase Gudelauski and Kris Vinski, along with music teacher David Elliott, were among the more than 500 musicians of all ages and abilities from all over the country performing holidays carols and other crowd favorites on their brass instruments, district officials said.

Next, students in the advanced nutrition and culinary classes made and served butternut squash soup at the annual tree lighting ceremony; sixth grade culinary club members created pudding pies topped with fresh berries, the district added.
